About Honed Finish

Honed finish is a mechanically processed surface that creates a smooth, matte appearance with minimal reflection. The process refines the natural stone surface while maintaining its original color, pattern, grain, and character.
 

How Is Honed Finish Produced?

Honed finish is produced through a controlled mechanical grinding and abrasive process.

The stone surface is first prepared and calibrated, then processed with abrasive tools to remove saw marks and surface irregularities. Progressively finer abrasives are used to refine the surface and achieve the required smoothness and uniformity.

The process is stopped before the final polishing stage, resulting in a smooth, even, low-reflective matte surface.
