Block Packing & Shipping Methods

At Marmo Design, we ensure professional handling and secure transportation of natural stone blocks to support safe international shipping and efficient unloading.

Depending on shipment requirements, marble and granite blocks can be loaded using different export methods.

1. Box Containers

For box container shipping, marble and granite blocks are carefully loaded inside the container using heavy-duty forklifts, overhead cranes, and specialized pushing equipment.

Blocks are positioned on strong wooden support bars to improve stability during transportation and reduce movement inside the container.

This method helps ensure safer transport and easier unloading at the destination.

2. General Cargo Shipping

For general cargo shipments, marble and granite blocks are loaded directly onto trucks and transported to the port before being placed on wooden support beams aboard specialized cargo vessels.

This shipping method is commonly used for large block quantities and oversized natural stone shipments requiring flexible transportation solutions.

3. Open Top Containers

For open top container shipping, blocks are placed inside the container using cranes and secured on heavy-duty wooden support bars for improved stability and easier unloading.

This method is particularly suitable for large natural stone blocks that require top-loading access and efficient handling during transportation.
