Slabs Packing & Shipping Methods
1. Wooden Bundles for Slabs
Marble, granite, and limestone slabs are carefully grouped into wooden bundles, with each bundle typically containing 8 to 15 slabs, depending on the material thickness and project specifications.
To ensure maximum protection during transportation, slabs are securely packed inside strong export-grade wooden bundles designed to reduce movement and support safe international shipping.
Depending on customer requirements and shipping availability, slab bundles can be loaded in:

20ft Box Containers using a boom crane

Open Top Containers using an overhead crane for easier top loading and unloading
This loading method helps improve shipment stability while supporting safe handling during transportation and delivery.
Surface Protection for Polished Slabs
For additional protection, polished marble and granite slabs are separated using protective plastic sheets to help minimize the risk of scratches and preserve the surface finish during shipping and handling.

2. Standard Slabs Container Packing
For standard slab packing, marble, granite, and limestone slabs are carefully placed directly inside 20ft dry box containers and secured using heavy-duty wooden support bars (coverlets) positioned along the inner sides of the container.
The slab arrangement depends on the slab dimensions to ensure better loading efficiency, stability, and safer transportation:

Long slabs: The container is typically loaded with two slab groups, one positioned on the right side and the other on the left side of the container.

Short slabs: The container can accommodate four slab groups, with two groups positioned on each side to maximize container space and shipment efficiency.
This loading method helps reduce movement during transportation while supporting secure handling and organized shipment preparation.
Surface Protection for Polished Slabs
To maintain surface quality during shipping, polished slabs are separated using protective plastic sheets to help minimize scratches and preserve the polished finish throughout transportation and unloading.
