Tiels Packing & Shipping Methods
1. Wooden Crates for Tiles
Marble, granite, and limestone tiles are carefully packed after a strict material selection and quality inspection process to ensure consistency with the approved samples and project specifications.
Tiles are securely packed inside strong wooden crates (boxes) lined with protective foam to provide additional safety during transportation and international shipping. Each wooden crate contains a specific number of tiles depending on the product dimensions and thickness.
For better shipment organization and easier handling, all crate details — including tile size, thickness, quantity, material type, and packing information — are clearly listed on an external label attached to each crate.
This packing method helps minimize movement during transportation and supports safer delivery for international B2B projects.
Styrofoam Box Protection
For 12" × 12" tiles (10 mm ± 0.5 thickness), additional protection is provided through styrofoam box packing before placement inside the wooden crates.
To preserve surface quality, especially for polished materials, thin protective plastic sheets are inserted between polished tile surfaces to help reduce the risk of scratches and maintain the finish quality during shipping and unloading.
At Marmo Design, we focus on secure export packing, product protection, and reliable shipment preparation to support safe international delivery.

2. Wooden Pallets for Tiles
Marble, granite, and limestone tiles are carefully packed after a strict material selection and quality inspection process to ensure consistency with the approved samples and project requirements.
Tiles are securely arranged on heavy-duty wooden pallets, surrounded by protective foam to provide enhanced protection during transportation and handling. To ensure stability, pallets are tightly fastened using durable plastic straps, while protective rubber edge pieces are added to help minimize the risk of corner damage during shipment.
The number of tiles per pallet depends on the tile dimensions, thickness, and material type, ensuring safe and organized loading for international transportation.
For easier identification and shipment management, all pallet details — including tile size, thickness, quantity, material type, and packing specifications — are clearly listed on an external label attached to the side of each pallet.
This packing method is designed to improve handling efficiency, reduce transportation risks, and support secure delivery for international B2B projects.
